Some work from late July 2026 - working on "Red Moons" from the 'Twenty One ' series. This being the early drawing stage before photography for the digital version. A couple of more alterations and then I think it will be right for what I want. The alterations are left to stand as scrubbed out marks - which helps the digital versions - texture wise. The paintings go on from this junction to other places, sometimes more alterations - the techniques of digital and real paint are quite different and need to be resolved in different ways. The title "Red Moons" is a working title at the moment.

  Photographing a few drawings in the studio - July 2026 - posing for two cameras. In the background "Can we Still be Friends" the first drawing from the 'Signs' series. Photography wise - I am using a Fujifilm X-S10 to photo the works in this session. Also, I have tethered the camera via WiFi to my computer - which works great. I just take a photo and it appears on the tether app on the PC and then automatically saves a copy to a designated folder - all very easy and streamlined. No cables, no USB no SD card and I can instantly see focus and exposure on a big screen.

While looking around for other images, I quite often find forgotten images, like this photo with the Egon Schiele self portrait. I was working on the painting behind and probably copied a few colours from the book cover. I was looking for images of my mother in law who is about to turn 100 years old this month.
